I am looking for make up that won't rub off on my collars for work. It's unprofessional to stand with make up on my collar all day. I tried cover girl and that was a waste of money. I am currently using Revlon and that works much better but it still rubs off. Anyone know of make up that won't look as bad? I have to use the shade "toast" in the revlon range.

HELP!!!!!!! My dog won't stop limping!?

Okay so today my stupid sister took my dog to the park. She took him on a slide, and something happened to his leg or hip. He's in pain I can tell, because he won't stop limping. When he stands, his back leg keeps twitching and he raises it slightly. I honestly, don't know what to do. My mom and I hope his leg isn't broken or his hip is displaced. Going to the vet is costly, and the vet will probably want to take xrays and want lots of money for meds. Is there any way we can help him, at home? Like is there any pain medicine we can give him that we humans take too? Or what if we wrapped his leg in gauze or something? PLEASE HELP.

500 GPH powerhead too strong for 10 gallon?

I bought a new powerhead (500 GPH Hydor Koralia)for my 10 gallon reef tank, I will be adding the corals next week. I have 2 percula clowns and 2 hermit in the tank. Is the 500 GPH powerhead too strong for my fish? because yesterday when I installed the powerhead the 2 percula clowns went to one corner and never swam from there, this morning when I saw one percula clown was hiding behind a rock and so I switched off the powerhead. Do I have to change to a low speed powerhead? or shall I leave it for a while for the fish to get used to?

I've always been a Bruins fan but over the years I kind of lost interest when it was obvious our management could care less about winning games. Now that we have a good team I am super excited but never more so after that vicious uncalled for hit on Horton last night. What the hell was that? I'm a Professional Cook who would love to open the kind of place you see on the show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (especially a Southern BBQ and comfort food type place). The brunette brings her right hand around and smack! got the black girl right on her cheek! but the black girl just kept hanging out her own right hand and slapped the crap out of the brunette, the brunette never could block it. But the brunette did land a few good right smacks, the black girl couldn't block hers either, we were surprised. The black girl won though. Then the blonde went against the Latin chick. The Latin chick tried to smack her with her right hand but the blonde ducked and came up and stood there. Right hand flip, SMACK! right on the Latin girl's cheek, and it HURT! What is the best way to set boundaries between my mother in law and me when it comes to raising the kids?

I am having some issues with my husbands mom in how she likes to take control in raising our kids. It's like she is trying to raise our kids for us instead of giving us the chance to raise them ourselves and ask for help if we need it. She is always offering her advice, which is fine because we are young and don't know everything when it comes to raising kids, but we would like to be the ones to ASK for the advice before it is given to us. And she tells us when she wants to watch the kids, not giving us the chance to ask if she is available to watch them for us. I always thought it was the parents who asked the grandparents to watch the kids or to ask for help first, not the other way around. My husband is close to his mom because he works for her at his parents business. So he always is around her. I know she is a big influence on him but it's like he is afraid to stand up to her and take a stand. I'm sure he is afraid he'll hurt his parents or make them mad but I honestly think that if nothing gets done with this issue that it'll end up where everyone gets sad/mad at everyone else. I don't want that to happen. I want them to be a part of my kids lives - but I want us to be able to raise them and have a say in where they go, not having them tell me what is happening with them (sorry if that is confusing). It just seems she is trying to intervene in our lives and push her techniques on raising kids onto my husband and me. I'm taking everything into perspective and seeing both sides of it but I still think that since we made the decision to have a family we need to join together and raise them together, not having his mom always come and rescue us (when we don't need rescuing). It's like she is a safety net to him and he feels he can always rely on her when something goes wrong or when we take the kids out he feels they need to come with us in case the kids start getting fussy or throwing a tantrum. I think we can deal with those situations as they happen. Kids will be kids, I know that and yes kids cry and fuss - but as parents it's our job to resolve those problems as they happen, right? Not having his mom step in and take over. I just feel that we need to set boundaries so we know where everyone stands and everyone is happy in the end. thanks for the advice :)

He's my bestfriend. Does he like me?

So, I've know him for 3 years now. We're bestfriends& we go to both church& school together. He always goes out of his way to talk to me. If I'm around people he'll go stand by me to talk. Thorny tree i don't know what it is?

I have a tree growing on my side of the house and when I went to go look at it. it was sort of thorny and skinny and long. It makes some great shade but when I was looking at the leaves very closely they were bearing small fruit! It was kind of small like the size of a fully grown man's thumb. I have a salt water aquarium with 2 percula clown and 2 hermit running for 2 months with 8lbs live rock. I am planning to start a reef aquarium. I am using 2x24 watt T5HO light fixture with 4 lunar led light. can you tell me what kind of coral can I start with (Mushrooms, zoos, polyps...), also do let me know the time the light should be on and the time the lunar led should be on? Gnats keep getting into my hermit crab tank, will they be okay?

Gnats are getting into my tank, and I fear that they will kill my hermit . I currently have 3 (Ms. Hermie, Cloudy, and Tiger). My sister has had a drug resistant headache and neck pain for 14 days. All tests are normal. What's wrong?

25 yr old healthy white female. Has not traveled out of US but spent time in woods in NW US a year ago. Presents with left sided headache, neck pain, and low grade fever for 14 days. LP was done: CSF looks clear and cultures come back negative. MRI and CT are negative for swelling, bleeding, and excess fluid. No signs of trauma. No history of fall. Pain gets worse upon standing. She complains of light and noise sensitivity, dizziness, blurred vision, and both dull and stabbing pain in her head that doesnt respond to oxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, or other pain medications. Has had migraines in the past but says this one feels completely different. None of the doctors at the hospital have helped. Anyone experienced this before or have any ideas?

How should I take a comment like that? I try not to get offended but stuff like that just ruins my day. Well I'm 15 and every holiday my parents go to nice places like Spain and Italy and instead of me going with them they send me to visit my brother who lives in America and I can't stand his annoying American wife. Crab trap and mullet?

Why is my blood pressure getting so much higher upon standing?

Years ago, I used to have orthostatic hypotension. Lately, my pulse still rises 15-25 bpm upon standing (after waiting 2-3 minutes), but my blood pressure also rises about 10 systolic and 15-20 diastolic upon standing. I still sometimes get lightheadedness/tunnel vision upon standing, but I figured my blood pressure would be dropping but it isn't ! I am very well hydrated and am otherwise healthy. Btw my blood pressure while sitting is usually 90s-100s over 60s.

Why did my crab disappear out of my fish tank?

My crab i have had for a very long time & one day he went missing. Im the only one who opens the lid to my tank which i think is way to heavy for a crab to lift open to escape. You have a contract with the company. And BOTH of you have responsibilities under that contract. In the written contract, was there a guarantee that the seeds would grow? Was there a guarantee that the weeds would be gone. Or did it simply state that they would do certain things which they did? Even if things aren't as promised, you must give the company reasonable opportunities to fix it themselves. As things stand at the moment, you owe them the full amount due...with or without an invoice.

ok so the fish dechlorinator I have has aloe vera in it. Here are the ingredients in the fish dechlorinator: Sodium Chloride, Aloe Vera, Polyvinylpyrrolidone. The hermit crab dechlorinator has : sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride,potaium chloride, potium iodide. I am running low on hermit crab dechlorinator and I have fish dechlorinator left over from when i use to keep fish. Is it okay for me to do this?

What type of items should i have in a hermit crab cage?

OK so I got my first hermit crab and I'm not really sure what type of items to put into the cage... So far I have a water dish, a large shell to put food into, a sponge for water to keep the air around him moist and the cage has like wired on the outside and he likes to climb to the top and try to get out when I am putting new food in his shell. Also I have read online that they should have sand or soil in there cage but is the rocks you would use in fish tanks OK and how will i know when he'll need to change shells or when he'll start molting?

What are the lumps on my shoulder?

when i got out of the shower today, i found myself looking in the mirror at my right shoulder. i found that when i put my palm flat on the lower part of my back (so my shoulder is protruding) i have small lumps on my shoulder. when i probe them with my left hand, they start to hurt and when i put my right hand back down and i'm standing normally, the lumps are gone. when i replace my right hand on my lower back sometimes they have moved or are gone. they are on my shoulder bone. right by the socket. i don't feel like its a form of cancer. it's too far over to be. my brother said he has the same problem except on the left side. He feels like it may be some sort of parasite, but that its a symbiotic relationship--no one is hurt until they decide to probe around.

Ok guys, I need to know if I am going crazy or not. The other day I was walking down the street and this man yells out to me “hey you get over here” I was like what do you want. Everyone seemed so convincing is it possible that I did all this and forgot. Was it a setup and they were all in on it? You don't really need a filter as long as you have plenty of live rock. You do need a powerhead for water movement. I'd suggest something that pumps around 200 Gph. I'd certainly not put a skimmer on such a small tank.

Pain in my pelvic area, lower abdomen?

I am a 20 year old female and have been experiencing pain in my pelvic area (mostly on the left side) and lower abdomen. Yes, I am ually active. The pain really kicks in with sudden movement or when i cough or sneeze, but other than that I normally don't feel it much unless its sudden and doesn't last long. Things like standing up really fast make it hurt. Its not an intense pain, but is uncomfortable. Kinda feels like someone is pushing on me. Any idea what this could be? I live with a couple under my uncles home he owns it. I moved them in without signing a contract or nothing?

I moved them in myself with my uncles approval hoping for the best. But time went by and they began to show their true colors. They are disgusting they dont clean unless it benefits them, she quit her job to sell diet pills and she was selling them at a third parties house before but she started her "business" in my uncles place and even put signs up in front of my house. both my uncle and i told her she cant do that she took the signs down but still is selling at my house because she said that she pays rent. Its 2 Bedroom home not apartment and they only pay $500 where else can they get a better deal so for her to say that is ridiciculous. my toilet recently began to leak i called a plumber who said that he found a lot of feminine products down there that could only belong to her seeing as since she is the only female living there. she denied it. they apparently pay the rent every month but when it comes to the utltilties that i pay they are either late or if they pay me on time they pay me on the day of the due date at night. By that time i already paid them with my own money. most of these bills are under my name so i like to make sure i pay them on before the due date. they are not clean and they are driving me crazy. My uncle told them they had 30 days to move out when he confronted them about them selling of their pills it was a verbal notice. she said she needed more time and its been more than 30 days and she is still there with no sign of looking to move out. I Decided to get a 30 day notice have my uncle sign it and give it to them asap. He will gladly sign it cause he does not care for them much. My question is whether i am in the right to kick them out whenever i or my uncle wants even though they pay the rent on time. Not the bills but the rent. I ume my uncle can cause its his house and they never signed any contract with him. I cant stand living with them no more they are stressing me out like crazy.. Please help!!!!!!

Hermit Crab Vacation Care?

So, I want to get hermit as a pet. I have researched tons on the proper care and I have got a plan to get everything that's necessary for the hermit . The only issue that I'm finding is "What if I go on vacation?" Are food blocks from PetCo that are for vacation acceptable? Do I need a family friend to do the work? Like dechlorinate the water and create the saltwater with the appropriate materials? And put in fresh foods? I'm so lost, somebody please help me.

I am 15, female, 5 ft 7 and about 10 st 5. when i suck my belly in, its usually about 29-31 inches, when i relax, its about 34 and when i push it out really far its about 37-38 inches. when i eat alot then my stomach can extend to about 39 inches and i look heavily pregnant! im moderately active and i eat relatively well, although yesterday i worked out that i ate about 3000 calories and i eat like that quite often, maybe thats why my stomachs so big. i havent got a "fat" belly as such, just a big pot belly and it sticks out quite far. when i stand up strait, relax my stomach and look down i cant see my toes although when i suck it in i can and i look quite skinny when i do. do you think i am fat and is it because i eat too much?

There might be another solution. If you can find a breeder willing to mentor you, you might be able to get started in junior showmanship showing their dogs. I used to breed many years ago and a teenage daughter of a friend was interested in showing, so I used to let her show some of my younger dogs in junior showmanship. It provided experience for the dogs as well as her and she used to help me out around the kennel. It is very tough to get started in showing without a mentor, so if you can find a breeder willing to work with you, you will be well ahead of trying to go it on your own. Go to some shows, and some breed club activities meet some breeders, offer to help out in exchange for some help showing. You never know what might happen. And at least you will learn what "show quality" is before getting a dog.

Sorry, I honestly just don't see why he should be suspended for the rest of the Series. If your a Boston fan, look what happened with the Chara incedent on the Habs player in the regular season. I think what Rome did was a late hit, Interference, but nothing more. It just looked to me like one more example of a player getting hit and it happened to be a horrible outcome for Horton. I'm glad he is okay and no serious damage was done, but I don't think Rome should be hung for this hit...I've seen worse that didn't get any suspensions. But it just so happens it's the SCF's, and this hit is getting looked at more so than it would if it were the regular season. Two hermit do best in at least a ten gallon gl tank. They do need heat and moisture though, or they suffocate, remember this! You can ask for a tropical heater from someone who works at a petstore, they can help. I wish I had known this before my hermies died. Both of them died because they didnt have heat so their gills got messed up. (Yes hermit do breathe through gills!!!)

make sure you have a good water regulator. dont overcrowd the tank or the fish will die. always be sure new water is being put into the tank. make sure the fish dont lose scales to fast or the other fish could die from the scales. As for fish, choose what you want. dont put humongous fish in but go on a booat and get some little fish that interest you

Give them a large, clean, stimulating habitat that mimics what they would experience in the wild and they will do just fine without any intervention on your part.

Is my credit REALLY THAT bad?

I am really frustrated. I have 4 negative things in my credit report: 2 medical bills, a outstanding credit card bill with Citi, and an unpaid internet bill. I am in good standing with my student loans, 2 store charge cards (old Navy and Victoria's Secret), a paid off car loan, and a paid off furniture account. I have an open account with Fingerhut and I also have paid in full good standing with American Thrift loans. My credit score is 419. I don't even know how that's possible. My best friend had 2 car repossessions and defaulted student loans that are now in garnishment and her credit score is even higher than mine. I'm in the process right now of trying to take care of my Citi account, but they refuse to do a payment arrangement with me. The internet bill will be taken care of, and I am going to dispute those 2 medical bills. But I'm really confused about how my credit could be in the 400's, with no defaulted student loans, a never late/paid off car loan. Can someone please give me some type of advice on why it might be that bad, or any advice on what I can do. I'm not thousands and thousands of dollars into debt to consolidate or anything like that. How far should a grade 6 be able to jump in running long jump?

It's tough, thinking your alone. I feel the same way. Things will get better over time, that's a promise. You'll meet new people to be better friends and you'll meet a new guy who treats you the way you deserve to be treated. It might take time but just know that it will come. (Ballet Dancers) What did i do to my ankle?

You may have tore a ligament or made it loose. I would stop dancing and get it checked cause you will just be making things worse. I tore ligaments in my ankle and needed surgery cause I didn't treat it right and I made it worse. Trust me you don't want it if your a dancer cause you won't be able to dance for many months. I had surgery in January and still have to do stretches cause it gets tight and then it's hard to move. Go see an orthopedic and they will help you. Good luck

sounds like somethings missing from your life that you had then. What did you have then that you don't have now? maybe a relative who's ped? a relationship thats ended? something traumatic happened after that that you've tried to push to the back of your mind? it could be anything. I am going to try to make this short as possible. I am an 18 year old high school female, soon to be a graduate later on this month. My mother ped away about 8 months ago, she was the only parent in our lives (sister, brother and myself.) She was a single parent the whole, my sister and brother have father, but aren't consistent and I have never met my father at all in my life, so to lose my mother was extremly devestating. :'( Anyway, so my older brother and his girlfriend who are 4-5 years old than me and also my younger sister who is 5 years younger than me chose to stay all together in the house. My sister's dad chose to accompany us for a while until things went sour between him and my older brother. So my sister and her father don't live with us anymore. My brother and his girlfriend recently gave birth to my nephew who is 3 months. Their relationship has a huge reputation for having terrible problems. It's been off and on, mainly because the lack of care my brother seems to have about anything besides himself. :( Well yesterday, they seperated for good and she no longer lives with us. This is because she found a GREAT job for my brother on Craigslist, got an interview, bought him clothes for the actual interview and he was hired about a couple days later. The job paid $2,000/month! Which was great. But, he quit his job after two days because he didn't like the fact that the job paid every 30 days and not every week or every other week. She chose to left because he only looked out for himself knowing we need help with bills, food and everything. Times have become really hard. I am looking for a job, but at the time I get survial soical security benefits from my mother's ping. I help pay a couple of bills and any food we need. Now, that she gone, I'm not sure what to do. My brother has depended on her for everything, but I feel like he going to be bottom feeding off of me... driving him places, pay for this, pay for that, clean (which he doesn't do any of that). I was really close to his girlfriend and also my little nephew and now that they are both gone, the house just isn't a home anymore. I'm starting to slip into depression yet again. I'm stressed about school, now there are more worries at home. Why would he leave me with all of this? He still doesn't seem to care and doesn't even try to stand on his own feet, that's why she left him because she wants him to LEARN to do so... but I see no motivation. My friend always gets the lead role!?

Me and my best friend Katie have loved acting since kindergarten. We would play the soundtrack to a show like Little Shop of Horrors, Greece, Seussical, or Bat Boy and make our own little production. We wrote our own plays and performed them for our parents, had so much fun. We decided from the first day that we started doing this that we would be leads together in all the middle school plays and that it was going to be great. During elementary school we would both audition for student films at the local college and Katie would usually get the parts because she was smaller. I am freakishly tall, and was about the same size as the college students, so I never got any parts. Oh, and her dad is also the head of the theater department at the college. So I thought that this would change in middle school and we would both get lead roles. Then middle school came, and we auditioned for the first show together (High School Musical). She got a callback and I didn't. I was a bit upset but I still felt happy for my friend. She got the role of Kelsey and I was ensemble. I though "Oh, its the first show and she has a bit more experience, it will be better next year). Well in seventh grade we auditioned for the show (Annie) and we both got callbacks. She got a callback for Annie and Lily St. Regis, while I only got a callback for one of the orphans. In the end, I got the role of Duffy, and she got the role of Annie. I was still upset about this, but I was still fine with it because I got a lead role. Now THIS YEAR, we both auditioned for Beauty and the Beast, and we both got callbacks, I got called back for Mrs. Potts and Madame de la Grande Bouche, while she got called back for those two AND Belle, Babette, Le Fou, and Cogsworth. She ended up getting cast as Belle, while I got cast as a featured towns-person and a plate. This is where I got really annoyed and started feeling a lot less happy for my friend. For our spring show, instead of a play, we are doing a revue of all the shows that our school did in the past 6 years. I was so excited because it was finally my chance to get a good part, and it turns out that Katie got THREE solos. She gets to be the Cat in the Hat for "Oh the Thinks you can Think", she gets to be Gertrude for "Notice Me Horton", and she gets to be Belle for "Home". Then I see what song I have, and I have a SEVEN measure solo in "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile". I was really upset. I always had thought that me and Katie would have the lead roles together, and it just turns out that she is better than me and will always have a better part than me. Now she has been in several shows at the college, the lead in every school play, the lead in several of the local theater company plays, and she even has an agent. I really am sick of being in her shadow all the time. We were best friends, but now I am always jealous of her. What should I do? I need help! What Sauce Should I Use?

I wouldn't serve meat with fake crab in it. Personally, I would go for a white sauce. I make a more figure friendly version by melting 2 tablespoons of er in a skillet, then adding 2 tablespoons of er, whisk it around and let the flour cook for about 2 mins. I then add 1 1/2 cups of chicken stock, and whisk until smooth, then allow thicken over high heat. I then add about 1/2 cup of single cream. Shrimps are the only thing. Frogs need 5 gallons or more even as babies. Hermit really need a 10 gallon set up or more. Snails would work but your mother doesn't like snails. And that goldfish is going to need a 20 gallon tank or more. I would just re-home the gold fish.
