What is keeping me from getting a job?

I have applied literally EVERYWHERE in a city of over a million. I started applying at places doing what I had experience in and I got nothing. I lowered my expectations and applied at all restaurants as a line cook, and nothing. I tossed my dignity out the door and applied at McDonald's, Wal Mart, Tim Hortons, Burger King, and nothing. I have a high school diploma so what the hell? My 15 year old brother found a job before I did!
